About Us

The Chatham-Orange Community Resources Connection is a:

  • Partnership of community agencies who are working together to make it easier for consumers to identify and contact agencies in Chatham and Orange counties which can help families stay safely in their homes, regardless of age or disability
  • A person-centered partnership which places the individual and their family at the center of the process of identifying and choosing the help that most meets their needs
  • A “No wrong door” approach to offering community resources and referrals by letting the client explain their needs only once. From then on, with the permission of the consumer, the agencies will “talk” to each other and then return to the consumer with information they can use to make decisions about the future wellbeing of themselves or their loved one
