We are a non-profit mediation center based in Carrboro, North Carolina. Our mission is "to promote and bring about the peaceful settlement of disputes and to prevent the escalation of conflict through mediation, conciliation, facilitation, and trainings.

Dispute Settlement Center offers help for families facing decisions about eldercare issues. We know that family dynamics make these discussions difficult. Our services include: personal coaching; family mediation or facilitated face-to-face conferences; and training in conflict resolution and facilitating family meetings. We have over thirty years experience helping families in transition work things out in respectful, mutually agreeable ways.
