We are a grassroots community based organization dedicated to strengthening the Latino community and improving the quality of life of Latino residents in Durham, Chapel Hill, Carrboro and the surrounding area.

It is the mission of Guiding Lights to be the most comprehensive caregivers support center for family and professional caregivers. We provide information, referral, education and support to both family and professional caregivers at no charge to the individual/organization. Serving Wake, Orange, Durham, Chatham counties and surrounding areas.

Piedmont Health SeniorCare is a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Our mission is to promote and sustain the independence of seniors wishing to remain in the community. We provide seniors with comprehensive long-term health, social, medical and dietary care. Our program is a safe alternative to nursing home care.

Project Compassion creates community and provides support for people living with serious illness, caregiving, end of life and grief.

We are a Christian non-profit designed to offer services to families who have a child or children with a special need(s). These services will take the form of support groups, workshops, family support activities, and medical advocacy.

The other component to our non-profit is community education. We will be visiting churches, schools and other various groups to educate on topics applicable to supporting families and children with a “special need”. Our goal is also to create awareness and growth in the community in the area of “special needs”.

The UNC Health Care System is a not-for-profit integrated health care system, owned by the State of North Carolina and based in Chapel Hill.

It exists to further the teaching mission of the University of North Carolina and to provide state-of-the-art patient care.
