The mission of the Chatham County Council on Aging is to promote and encourage independent living and physical and mental wellness through agency activities among the population over 60 years of age.

Our senior centers are one-stop hubs for older adults to access services and programs through the Department on Aging. We offer an array of activities, special events, trips, classes, clubs, lifelong learning, recreation and drop-in programs. We provide information, counseling, and services to help individuals and their families navigate the medical, personal, and social transitions that may accompany aging.
